up8328 - well done, I like. Just downloaded the two that I will be using, without ballast and have two questions. Is it necessary to have a left and right switch when you can change the placement in the trackside section with a simple click? Second question: how much trouble would it be to make the ties the same color as JR's Dark Gray Dirty tracks? I will be using these in most of my routes. Thanks for your efforts.

There are left and Right side switches because of the Orientation of the Flags, Lamps, or other indicators on the machine. In general most switches are set to Mainline, and that means depending on the direction of the Turn-out there are 2 possible set ups for each type of switch.
