Taking a break from Harpers...
Using the free DEM of the Fostoria area, I've thrown this...errr...thing together.

Just two from me, managed to get the mainline station and the surrounding area about 50% complete. The route is a preserved railway and it connects to the mainline here.

ok this is my first post on here so tell me if i did anything wrong
i am working on a utah belt railway
the line itself is almost fictional
the only real thing is names of the towns
i just wanted to do so so i did
i have saving for the utah belt railraod sd40-2 from jointed rail
for now i use these f7s but anyways
i hope you all like
in this first we look north east to see a west bound freight
again we see the westbound freight
here is a baseball feild i am making from scratch
here is a airel view of such baseball field
here we see construction workers hard at work making a bridge to bypass the gradecrossing ahead
here we see a old relic of the line
a local historical society takes care of the buildings
here we see the old depot and the old waterculmn for refilling steam locomotives tenders
here we see the crossing to become obsolete when the bridge is finnished
and here we still see the westboun freight still moving
i hope you all enjoyed this as much as i did building it

Hello all,
This is an addition to the Death Valley Line Layout for TRS06. I have been given permission by the original author to do some additions and modifications. Enjoy.
This is the start of a long mountain pass with an average 2% grade.
A new industry. I've built the yard to allow for storage of both loaded and unloaded cars to keep it functioning.
Passing under the monorail main line. I have also tied onto an existing electrified line that will have portals on both ends. The original layout had the track going across the baseboard with nowhere to go.
The bridge shown has 2 tracks to allow for traffic going both directions.
I welcome any comments or suggestions. This addon to the original layout will have several new(er) industries added along with some other surprises.

Well, after a long absents I am back in full force!
Well, after thinking about it I figured I should move the Golden North to northern Minnesota and southern canada. There are alot more resources to move down here lol
I started with the tahoe yard which consists of an 8 stall roundhouse, a coaling and watering tower, the station and a hyde pulp mill modified to produce old west general goods. It also has a dry sort yard at one end of the yard. The main part of the GN is SG (though I am starting with the NG part) which will come in to play later.
Anyway, here are some pictures
I will post more as I get in to canada and southern MN. Who knows, maybe Ill make it down to KY lol

Here is a little side project...The New Coxton Yards
Built in 1870, the Lehigh Valley's Coxton Yard in Pittston, PA was a major hub shipping out the anthracite coal. At this point it's just the trackwork. The Roundhouse and other buildings and bridges are being worked on.
