I was just watching a TV show called Man Caves, which shows on DIY Network (DIY = Do It Yourself). A Man Cave is a room in a house for MEN, so it's Manly stuff in there, i.e. bar, big-screen HDTV, etc. So here's the question: What would you like in your man cave?
Here's mine:
Two model railroads, one for my HO scale trains, one for my dad and I's Lionels
Note: Whenever I build a model railroad, it won't take up the entire room, just part of it
A flat-screen TV with digital cable and DVR (DVR = Digital Video Recorder), along with surround sound stero
A popcorn machine
A big, nice, comfy recliner
A big, nice, comfy couch
A pool table
A PC designed specifically for computer games, including Trainz
An area large enough to display all my train paintings, majority of which is made by local artist Jim Jordan (http://www.jordanart.com/home.html). I've got seven pictures made by Jim Jordan: three in my bedroom and four, smaller ones, stored in my closet, already framed and waiting to go somewhere in the house. There are few more paintings made by other local artists that I've got nowhere to place.
Here's three links to the three pictures I have in my bedroom:
Hummin' O'er The Cumberland: http://www.jordanart.com/humminoerthecumberland.html
1218 on the Tenn: http://www.jordanart.com/1218onthetenn.html
And my personal favorite, which hangs over my bed and is personally signed by him, Queen of the South: http://www.jordanart.com/queenofthesouth.html
Anyway, what would you want in your Man Cave?
