41, been trains in my life since as far back as I remember. Volunteered in the past at Western Railway Museum, called Bay Area Electric Railroad Association at that time, Rio Vista Junction, Highway 12 California. San Jose historical society has the "trolley barn", did work there in my teens. Father works for VTA in Santa Clara County. Grandfather worked on boilers for the Southern Pacific, occasionally switching them, had one "running away" with him at the controls once, interesting story there. With Microsoft Trains Simluator, got the "bug" or "fever" again, found Trainz 2004, hooked, now got TS12 and for iPad. There was a gap in between teen years and the last 6 years, where I was into hot rods, and computers in general. Now, seems like this is where I want to be. Trainz forum opened up a lot and great community.

I am 13 going on 14yrs old now And Railroading Runs through my blood. I am about 30% Railroader My Dads Great Uncle fired Steam Locomotives for the G.T.W and His Uncle was a train Engineer for C&O on my moms side my grandma's uncle was a C&O passenger train Conductor and my uncle works for CSX in Kentucky

im 15 and i have loved trains since i was little! i got trainz when it first came out here in nz as a gift from my aunty
now i do lots of train spoting around Raroa station (nz) and play trainz on my i-pod! hopfully one day i'll be a train driver!!!!!

I am 13 going on 14 in April. I often brag to people that I am only 13 and KNOW how to drive a train. I have loved trains ever since I could remember. My mother always told me that whenever a train went by, my face would be right up against the window as soon as I heard the horn. When im 16 and have my own car, I am going to apply at the Illinois & Midland as a trainee to become a hostler (its a start anyways 
). But then after I graduate, I am going to apply within the company to be an engineer. After a few years working there, I was thinking of applying with BNSF and work on the Marias Pass for a few years or maybe more.

i am 35 and been playing trainz since the first release, before that i had a go at setting up ho scales in the garage when i was a teen, and alway enjoyed walking up to the tracks to watch the trains go by in my home town.

This is awesome as I know some of you and some of you know me. I'm 42 and on my forums we have members that range in age from 10 to around 78. The one thing we have in common is our love for trains. And most every one that I have talked to says that's enough.

Today I was actually talking with my Aunty about when she was little and her mum would take her in to town to eat at Coles. she made a comment that us kids can't do that now and then i mentioned that we have ikea. she said that she hated me after i told her that ikea was within walking distance from my house 
I'm currently working on a futurised perth suburban route. It isn't very good but it includes the burswood stadium and the city link tunnel.

Today I was actually talking with my Aunty about when she was little and her mum would take her in to town to eat at Coles. she made a comment that us kids can't do that now and then i mentioned that we have ikea. she said that she hated me after i told her that ikea was within walking distance from my houseIt's great to see teenagers getting interested in the local rail scene, as the young/teen generation are what is needed to keep this hobby alive - my childhood rail memories are mostly sadly gone forever, the days of the Perth rail system prior to electrification (this was the 1980s, early 1990s), with X class diesels hauling elderly wooden-bodied AY/AYB/AYE/AYF class carriages, all in Westrail orange and blue livery (many carriages of which had frames that dated from the 1890s), freight trains still shunted into private sidings at suburban stations like Cottesloe and Rivervale (many consisting of four-wheeled wooden open wagons and guard's vans), 'somersault' semaphore signals were still commonplace on the main lines and in yards, and Perth station still looked much like it did in the steam era, with only minimal 'modernisation'.
At least the current scene isn't too different from a decade ago, other than brand name/livery changes and some extensions to the network (Mandurah and Thornlie) and some newer stock in use. Anyway, sorry for that little trip into the past - if you haven't found them already there's some WA/Transperth stock available in Trainz, but sadly it's for older versions and will have errors if run in newer versions. If you can fix those bugs though it will be well worth it.

Ever since I was aware of the activity around Kalamazoo, I've been out railfanning to see NS, Amtrak, and now GDLK. I loved seeing the old Conrail units in the yard when NS was still here, and before they left in '09, I got to see one rare loco. An old Conrail B30-7 was leading B-1-G (my favorite local) back through town. I thought I would be able to see the unit again, but NS put all the units together and shipped them to Burns Harbor. Saddest moment ever.

Almost 15. September 2nd. Been into trains since the day I was born.
I've been obsessed with trains since i was a todler. I live in Western Australia. My favourite trains are the TransPerth B-series and TransWA Prospector. Both absoloutley sleek trains. I am 14. I first recieved trainz simulator from my dad when I was 6 or 7. It was UTC. It became unuseable when we got a new computer. I now own a Mac and when trainz simulator became availible on the mac app store I saved up

It's not your age, it's the mileage. Train have been in my family since before I was born. Around the tree at Christmas, too a table in the dining room, to the spare bedroom. Indoctrination was the word most of our woman used .
i'm twelve, soon to be thirteen on the 17th. since we had, like, 7 snow days here in Scranton, we are going to school until the 18th, as compared to the 11th. i was brought into trains when i was about 1/2 year old. my grandparents would take me to steamtown every weekend. later on i played lionel traintown, and then msts with my grandpa. my parent eventually got me TS06, then TS10 for christmas 2011, then TS12 on christmas 2013. and here i am.

Since we are in Canada we had 5 feet of snow. I was into trains since day 1, especially Thomas.. Oh well, fast forward 11 years and I originally got MSTS but it wouldn't work on my computer, and I wanted to get Trainz as a replacement. My family and I were looking through WalMart to shop and I found trainz 2 pack for 10 bucks and got it, and I have been loving it ever since.
