Hey Guys, I am starting to have a problem with TRS 19 & 22, after it has been running for a while it crashes and I get the message that windows couldn't save all the files. I was wondering if anyone else has come across this issue or know what the problem could be. Any thoughts would be great.

Thanks,

I found there was a clash between Trainz and Win 10 if Windows started updating in the background while Trainz was running. Initiating Windows updates manually at least once a week while doing emails and so forth seems to have resolved the issue. Peter

I had similar recently

I used to wonder why my comps were more likely to crash during a pause than when they were running a game but Trainz always seemed to be the exception till about two months ago.

The thing was that I had left Trainz paused for several hours and most everything froze even " Task Manager " could not close the program and I had to pull the plug on my comp. This happened several times and I don't leave it paused for long now.

This is most likely a graphics related issue. The latest versions of Trainz use the graphics card (GPU) more than ever.

How much free space do you have?

A full hard disk can cause that kind of error.

If you have plenty of disk space, then you may want to check your drive for errors.

I always run my Windows updates manually and never while running Trainz or other "serious" programs.
