Will this work?

I am downloading the Mega UK airport onto my trainz 2009. I have seen a warning about how much scenery is on the route. Will my computer run with out to much lag. If not tell me how to turn the detail level down.

Maybe 5gb of ram? I find that 500 really hard to believe!

I am sure it is 500GB hard drive and 4G of memory, unless he upgraded it. That is what Dell usually came with.

Yeah, that makes more sense, 500gb of hard drive space. My comp has about a 75gb hard drive with 2.2gb of RAM.

yes well instead of talking about memory (i did upgrade) can you answer the actual question

If buildings are 46 Zillion Polys ... the framerates will just be lower ... possibly view things looking down from @ 30 degree angle, as at a low angle your video card will see more scenery.

Well, one way you could turn the detail level down (if it lags) is to enter the performance options on the top of the screen, and then drag the ground and scenery draw distances down. By doing this, you make it so that the computer doesn't show as much of the route at one time.
