Hi Guys,
Tonight while visiting CM of TS2010 to find one of my old models I noticed suddenly some contents of mine marked as obsolete and a update is out there, and I know for sure I did not put it up there...
In fact, I counted 6 models, 1 is marked as warning, but rest appears fine in TS2010 - and some years back when I got an email about please update my models or they would go on the fix it list, I did just that, fixed them.
If more would end up on that list, I would have expected a message about that, as well as I would expected to know that they are uploaded with a new version number unto DLS - and right now, I would very much like to know why they are uploaded, they appear identical to my v2 models already on the DLS...
What have changed, why are they there now as a v3?
Do I risk more to appear like that? In that case, as above, why?
As far as I can tell, all my stuff released during my years has been fixed years back by me, what am I missing here?
I feel uncomfortable with this, as they are all old not very good models, and when marked as updated now it gives the impression they are of better quality then they really are, hence, my very bad feel when I saw them this night.
Anyone else got the same experience?
I think I saw a thread a while back with someone else getting similar treatment, but I can't recall it now and I really wanted to get this of my chest before I head to bed over 4 in the morning after some crazy eBay stuff in terms of my Cripple Creek stuff - the stuff that got me into Trainz the first time as I wanted to use Trainz as a modeling way...
I just wish I would be told stuff would appear, and being I see them still marked as TRS2004 stuff I know it is N3V doings, but I wish I would have had a chance to deliver them in that case a better working model with textures consolidated and such...
It's not fair that if I want to update the model again, I need to add a higher build when N3V can keep my old build, I should be able to do that as well on old models - my thoughts! :'(
Anyway, thanks for listing, I head for bed now... Broke and sober in case someone wonders :hehe:
