Something that may make your task easier.
CM2 allows you to edit built-in objects, you may have some errors or warnings but that should not be much of a problem.
If you add the following tag to the fixed-track components they become height adjustable.
height-range -1,1
If you are setting your track to a fixed minus value, presumably -0.2 then make the height setting above -0.2,0. This will save you having to fiddle to get the height exact. If you intend to distribute your map, your users will have to make the same changes or ignore the raised track sections.
