Where are road and highway objects in TRS2009?

As a newbie I'm still getting used to TRS and Surveyor so I have this stupid question: where do I find straight or curved road objects or how do I build them? I've found road intersections, road cul de sacs, roundabouts, etc. but can't figure out how to simply lay down a road. It must be similar to laying down track, but I just can't get started.

If you click on teh tab where you found the intersections, tehre will be two round buttons at the top of that tab, the left one is for objects the left is for spline objects such as roads, power cables etc
