Where are Other Routes that Use Mojave Subdivision Style Signals?

I have been running the Mojave Subdivision for several months. The signals work very well. I never have cornfield meets.

I have been trying to find an additional route to use. I have downloaded several, and none of them have signals that work well. Every route I try has cornfield meets. I would like to find another route that works. If Mojave works, then why can't other routes work just as well?

I know at one time, the designer of the Mojave signals answered one of my posts. That was so long ago, I cannot find it anymore. If you are still out there, please let me know of any otheer routes that you have designed signals for. Your signals are the only ones I can find that work. Auran should give you a raise!

Thank you

Justin's 'smart' signals are a reasonably new innovation and it will take some time for them to trickle down into released routes.

"If Mojave works, then why can't other routes work just as well?"

Two reasons - yes, partly bad signalling practice from route builders, but primarily a hard-wired AI signal logic which makes true prototype signalling pretty much impossible in Trainz. Signalling a route in a Trainz-AI-Friendly manner reduces train capacity on a route, which leaves route builders between a rock and a hard place: How many trains can the route handle versus how realistic can I get the signalling.

No easy solution till now, but a good route takes time and the 'smart' sigs are new...

Thank you for explaining this. I hope more people start using these smart signals. I really wish, when people put a route on the download station, that they would explain if the signals work well or not. In my opinion, a route without good signals is worthless.
