When's TRS2006 SP2 comin'?

I thought I saw something about one already being out, but its just so the program becomes compatible with some desktop device so you can run trains with it. As for most people using 2006, not quite. I don't have any definite numbers, but my strong guess is 2004 is the preferred version right now.

Unless Auran has a massive surprise in store for us, I think I can say with absolute certainty that there are no plans for any further updates or service packs for Trainz 2006.
It's now four versions old (counting TC1&2, TC3 & TS2009) and while it's still my personal favorite, I think it's fairly understandable that Auran has moved on. They provided as much support for it - if not far more - than Microsoft ever did for MSTS. Plus, it seems to be fairly stable, although I know not everyone shares that opinion.

Not nitpicking John but it is TS 2009
I still create stuff for TRS04/06/TC as well as for TS 09 native mode as do some other creators. IMHO, TRS04 is still the best version released so far, TS 09 can be better as long as AURAN pulls their proverbial finger out of wherever it is at the moment.
Release of TS WBE on Nov 08, release of SP1 for it in January 09, release of SP2 for it not anytime real soon (TM). 5 months have passed and no update yet, come on guys, really???

I do not know what to called it preinstall installed or built in:
but any way I have a trs 06 dvd which I got on december 11,08. I went to auran help sesk and asked if my serial number can you find out if the dvd I got has sp1 built into the dvd. and their response is yes. but I want to make sure if I give out my serial no. over forums can someone take a look at it. and tell me either way if it is or not. I would try auran help desk but they do not respond to my messages. so I gave up on them.

Not really a wise idea to put your serial number in a public forum. Posting the version number might be a better idea. (From that we can tell whether it's TRS 2006 SP1 or just TRS 2006).

Build number would be handy too. Both the build number and the version are shown in the lower right hand corner of the screen where you can choose to go to surveyor, driver, etc.
