hello to all: I mean I'm all for sales but before n3v you had auran seems like they never had sales I will take that back they had some sale few and far in between so a caution flag comes to my mind and thinking that it might be closing.

I was just woundering when I business is about to close they have alot of sales by reducing its inventory. I was just thinking is nv3 or auran with all the sales going on and what not are they planning to close up? you know I hope not for a trainz simulators ( all in that case ) there all good I would say the best ones out there. no matter if you have trs04 up to trs2012.

N3V pay salaries each month, Trainz probably sells more copies in November / December. When they make a retail sale they get around 25% of the price you pay sometimes less. They can't price the goods less than their resellers do but they can put things on sale provided its occasional. So bringing in money at the quieter times of year makes business sense. Basically they still make more on a direct sale on sale than they do on a retail sale.

Another reason for this is something most foreign Trainzers wouldn't be aware of - the Australian Financial Year ends on the 30th of June, which is a month from now. Around this time of year most Aussie businesses have big sales to get old stock off their books and to help increase their capital, so as hopefully make their tax rate lower, or something like that (I'm not to sure of the details, but I know it is tax related), and Auran/N3V, being an Australian company, are no different.

So yeah, it's probably what we here in Australia call a 'June 30 Sale'. ;)
