What Would You Like To See In A Route?

I am currently creating a route that I hope to use for multiplayer and would like to know what other players want to see in a route. If you would like to give some input on your opinion, please do so. I will take suggestions from the first 20 posts in this thread. You may choose up to 3 features, ranging from a specific type of industry/cargo to certain track attributes such as a long bridge over a lake or track that loops over itself. After 20 posts that include votes are made, I will choose anywhere form 5 to 10 features depending on the variety in the votes. I will then add a post to share what the most popular features were.

One thing I'd like to see is a lot of passenger stations, something like a commuter network for a major city like the MBTA or Metro-North/NJT/LIRR.

I would like a route about 100 miles long and a lot of industry (protoLars).Passenger Trains Too.
