Unfortunately there are many in the train sim world that like to deride the Trainz series. This clowns trash will just reinforce their opinion that Trainz is a joke. There are many creators that spend months on free quality content, & this rubbish is an affront to their hard work.

This whole topic is an affront to every creator's hard work. If you don't like it, don't download it and get over it.

Why give the loser the satisfaction of this sort of reaction. Forty one posts (42 now! ).

Suggest:

1. Delete these un-useable entries from the DLS

2. Delete this thread. I'm sure the perpetrator sees this kind of reaction as a triumph.

3. Consider a ban if the problem persists

I have no intention to download any of this trash, but with Tiny Trainz on the horizon, am sure we can all look forward to floods of more of this childish "content"..

Even so, if there is content that arises that gains the community's attention because it is offensive/vulgar/wasteful or just plain stupid, you'd figure somebody's going to do something about it to quell the numerous complaints...

While I understand that we shouldn't advertise his/her products, Paul502 probably made this thread to let others know, and has it turned out they MAY have a virus.

Auran may not be responsible for them making items, but it IS Auran's responsibility for allowing them to be shown and uploaded to Auran's site.

Good points Red, but please don't bring up the copyright thing again. Auran have thankfully been VERY lax over this part of their rules - that's why we have Shell petrol stations, McDonalds, Woolworths etc in Trainz, and not made-up names. I think their policy of 'wait and see if the copyright holder complains' is probably best.

Unfortunately this content isn't offensive in the sense that the guidelines mean, so I don't think that's grounds for complaint.

Personally, I think that even if uploads are still being checked manually, there is nothing in the rules that prevent this content from being uploaded. That's not to say it isn't annoying.

Hopefully this person will soon get bored and go away. However, if the volume of uploads increases, I can see a real problem...
