>Trains, Planes, and Automobiles
>Eraser (with Arnold Swarztnegger)
>Lethal Weapon 4
>The Fugitive

Thats all I can remember right now!!!

Lets see.
>runaway train (was foucused mainly on the train)
>are you afriad of he dark? "train magic"
>Fast and Furious 1 (car almost hit by train, only to be destoyed hitting an 18 wheeler seconds later)
>Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift (Subway and cummuter trains)

how about an obvious one ... the Hogwarts Express a la Harry Potter.

question.. how many of you brits have banged into the wall at Kings Cross station trying to get onto platform 9 3/4???:hehe:

I was reading in the recent Scale Rails Magazine that ATSF made a movie with one of their GP60Ms painted in a Maersk paint scheme along with a consist of Maersk double-stack wellcars (loaded with Maersk containers, naturally) according to the short article its was a promotional film. but I thought I'd post it here. ALSO if anyone knows where they can get their hands on it or even what the title is, I'd love to see it.

The beginning of A Hard Day's Night involves the Beatles taking a train to escape the riot of screaming fans chasing them.

In Help! when the Beatles are skiing/singing Ticket to Ride in the Alps, there's a brief shot of one of them chasing the 3 others in a tiny NG switching diesel.

Just remembered there is one in X-men 1... the part where, you guessed it they're at the train station. ;)

'twas an Amtrak, although I was kind stumped on what it was (P40?).

Dang, I can't believe no one's mentioned Fried Green Tomatoes. That's the first movie I that came to my mind when I looked at the topic! A&WP 290!
Also October Sky has the 4501 painted for N&W. And there was a movie filmed at TVRM recently, too, with the 610.
