What is the difference between a deluxe edition and the regular edition?

Can anyone give me a short, general description between Trains 2010 Deluxe edition and the regular Trains 2010. Yes, I know that Deluxe Editions are more expensive, but what is the customer getting for the extra cost?

Thanks
Jerry

Didn't know there was a deluxe TS2010. Might be confusing "Trainz 10th Anniversary Collector's Edition" with TS2010, but that's actually TS12 with a fancy tin lunchbox, printed manual, free 30 day FCT, certificate of authenticity in case it may actually be worth something to a collector some day, and the possibility of a Willy Wonka Golden Ticket which you can Win Valuable Prizes if you find one, but my name ain't Charlie so I didn't get one. Current sale includes a bunch of expansion pack extras plus a free copy of TS2010, so if you're thinking of buying 2010 and 12 and all them expansion pack things it might be worth looking into. Pay close attention to the minimum system specs tho, it will run on less but it's a jerky slideshow on low spec hardware.

Where are you getting this info? I do seem to recall Amazon having something like a "deluxe edition" that had some video on a separate disc, but the game was otherwise the same, AFAIK. I took a quick look and I'm not sure that's true any longer.

Frankly, I wouldn't buy Trainz anywhere but here. Too many other vendors use DRM and have poor patch support, and Amazon requires that highly-questionable amazonGSdownloader utility for all software downloads. While I believe the "Deluxe Edition" Amazon sells is a boxed DVD product, as opposed to a download though, I wouldn't bet $40 that it's completely clean.

I ordered my copy of 2010 Engineer's Edition from an E Bay store on the net. It was $25.00 with shipping, arrived fast, and contained no weird stuff. RR Signal is correct, the "Deluxe Edition" does come with a DVD about steam trains, which I didn't receive, but didn't care about anyway.
