What happened to my warbonnet a/c unit?

343 NEVER FORGET
I was running some of my BNSF dash 9's tonight, and noticed the a/c unit on my H2 was not the warbonnet color. It was ok before SP1, but orange after. Anyone have a solution on how I can get it back? Thank you, Danny

I always appreciate people taking the time to help me. If people are willing to use there time to help, it is the least I can do is say thank you. :hehe: Thanks again for your input Jeff. Here is a screenshot I took way before the SP1 was installed.

Hmm, this is odd. Let me ask Justin and see if perhaps there was an update on them or something like that. Anyone else having the issue as well or is Danny just causing trouble again? ;) LOL!

Mike

Justin tends to think it was a file change somewhere along the line. SP1 wouldnt have changed this so by chance did you redownload or reinstall at some point here? IF so thats probably the issue here.

Yes I did re download this dash 9. I was messing with the horn and screwed it up. I could not find where I kept the CDP, so I went to the website and re downloaded it again. Lesson learned on this one, mess with a clone, and always know where all your payware is kept for later use.

not sure what you are referring to specifically, but the hoods are often having to be repainted for heat damage from the prime mover catching fire (GE trademark). the A/C units are changed out rather often, and sometimes a matching replacement is not available so they get one that comes off a differently painted unit. it is actually more often that an orange one gets put on the warbonnet colored locomotives than the other way around, because there are many more orange ones.

i am not sure what happened exactly, but somewhere between my putting the warbonnet A/C and making a slight update to the files on the site that change got lost somewhere. ill get this fixed probably when the NS dash 9s hit the site.

I was speaking to the bits that looked like they came from another locomotive and have a different paint scheme on them, which is exactly what you addressed.

I've never laid eyes on that, at least not that I recall, so I was puzzled as to why it would be skinned that way.

I've seen mix and matched paint schemes on doors, hatches and modules on BNSF locos when there is damage or malfunctions quite often around here. It don't happen all the time but it does happen.

Probably not entirely on topic, but how many Dash 9's does BNSF have with the "patchwork" on the long hood?
