Trainz wonderful Trainz, how could we live without it.
What do I love about Trainz? Pretty much everything.
I can build massive routes without having to spend massive amounts of money to do so.
I can drive trains across the plains for hours on end without the paranoia police hitting me about the head with a telephone book for doing so.
When it's raining outside (thusly preventing me going out railfanning), I can just set myself up in driver to sit on a platform at a station and just watch the trains run by.
I can drive a Ukrainian diesel locomotive on a German route with American coal hoppers.
I can drive stuff on so many different routes from all corners of the earth.
I have a massive selection of nearly 100000 different items on the DLS, and thousands elsewhere to satisfy whatever needs I might have.
I can meet lots of people whom I would otherwise never know by means of this forum.
I don't have to worry about the incredibly brain-twisting procedures for installing content like on other sims, much less getting those sims to work.
I can (very) indirectly influence the making and development of future versions of the game.
To sum it up: I love the variety, no other sim has so much from so many for so little. I oughta send the Brew Crew a case of some local lager...
