what card wood you pick?

Hi all I have never used tranz
i look at a i7 pc what card should i pick

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti

NVIDIA GeForce GT 545

or a AMD Radeon HD 6670

The 550Ti is definitely the best of the three. I saw one on rebate at Tigerdirect at a pretty good price too a few weeks back, about $110 or so.

I'd look for a lowish TDP to keep the heating down, AMD seem to have lowered TDP than nVidia at the moment and rate higher on the value side.

What size power supply do you have?

With 460 watts it depends a little if its brand name or not, you should be able to wring out 150 watts for the video card though and the 6870 is 151 watts TDP.

I wood and did choose an Asus GTX550 Ti, to be installed soon, after I replace my 350 Watt supply with a 600 Watt supply. At least 400 Watts is recomended for the GTX550 Ti.

The power supply is a little close for my comfort zone but that being said I would go with the GTX550 and seriously think about a power supply upgrade.
