We have a tradition here in Oz of a "Welcome to Country" ceremony, a traditional First Nations peoples welcome to visitors, at the start of anything important. The start of a new forum section "Trainz Living Railroad" deserves such a welcome to all visitors.

pware.. Pardon my confusion. Did you create the Trains Living Railroad section of forum or did N3V? Do you work for N3V? If so, I didn't know that. And I thought I read in an N3V post somewhere that TLR was "parked on a siding" for a while while the current focus is on HD. Just curious.

No is the answer to both questions.

I spotted the new forum section and it was empty - I thought what a unique opportunity to be the first poster, so I posted a message I was surprised to see that some time later there was no response so I thought that maybe not many (or not any) knew what TLR was about. So I posted another message with a link. There was newsletter with the initial announcement but I was unable to locate it. N3V please update your newsletter link page - it is several months out of date.

Yes, I believe it is still in alpha testing with only freight operations available - passengers will be added later. I suspect that you are correct and it may be the next update to Trainz Plus after HD.

But thanks for confirming that some are reading and responding to new forum sections.

Sure... when it first came out I gave it try.... I haven't really done anything with it.

I thought you were likely the first poster and not the creator, but then it didn't make sense to me that a forum would be created without an initial post.... That's certainly no way to create any excitement..... My hat's off to you for taking the initiative.

EDIT: Initial email was on 12/9/22 I beleive. Here's the release post.

Loved tlr while it was out. Saw a lot of potential in it.
