Weird Problem Saving

Ok when i try to save my route i am working on (Grafton WV) when i try to save it says this :
Trainz cannot overwrite read-only route files.
Try saving with a diffenent name.

I tried saving with a different name five times.
HELP!!!:'(

G'day there,
When you try to save do you use the "Save As" function and then type in another name in the dialogue box? This problem is quite common in TRS2006 and many people have had the same trouble as you so you are not alone. When it happens to me I usually get the result I want by simply going to "Save as" and then hitting "enter" or clicking "Ok". For some it requires entering a new name.
