We have a copyist posting content to the DLS that is not theirs.

He made changes to my asset that require you to edit the config file. The changes he made are above and below the license, which kinda makes it hard to believe you do not see it.
The license clearly states the following on the first line:
So it does not matter if you know how copyright works. The above text should have been a very clear indication you are doing something you should not be doing.

He actually is not (always) copying them, as a copy would be a 1-on-1 re-upload. I checked two assets; he made minor changes.
To try and put it politically correct: They are actually not very high quality re-skins.
Still... against my, and I am sure many others, license to re-upload them without getting permission first.

Wait, may I see some photos of his reskins? The person that Hiawathamr and I are suspecting has created some Tweetsie RR reskins and I'm wondering if the reskins are similar. Thank you.

.Just search for him here and check the thumbs if you really want to know. I doubt he updated any of the thumbs.

I then noticed that his uploads all have original thumbnails but didn't pay much attention to what he was doing like the Amtrak F40-PH by Magicland.
He did do some Tweetsie Railroad stuff; I remember seeing it a week or so, maybe longer, up on the DLS.
The problem will be how are we going to get stuff pulled by authors who haven't been here in ages, like Magicland or others.

Some of Ben Neals as well by the looks of it, downloaded 542976:100665 to check and it's Ben's.

That is actually the person I'm suspecting. He loves the Tweetsie RR. So it might be him uploading them or his friend. Hiawathamr and I have been trying to talk to him about it.
Gramma has made at least two poor attempts at reskinning an F40PH and a P42DC into my Silver Lines and uploaded them to the DLS. Age or newness certainly doesn't exclude him from getting what he deserves... I doubt I can consider opening a ticket about that, though, as the original assets are not mine, merely he is ripping off my personal work. There is obviously no copyright I can claim here, but I do consider it stealing. I guess he or his possible friend smoky is a fan of my SLRR? Rather annoying, I gotta say. Hopefully some action can be taken, I'd help with the reporting if I could.
