Chased CN Q199 from Dale to Junction City

Q199 at Dale

At Waupaca

At Stevens Point

At Junction City

A few more screen shots of the route I am currently working on...

Rhinelander Paper Mill is to the left. 4 tracks cross Phillips Street. This would be what is left of the old C&NW mainline that went through town.

End of the line! This would be where the old C&NW mainline ends. Now days, this is where the end of the track is for CN on the end of the paper mill lead track just to the north of the Rhinelander Paper Mill. Note that the tracks are not in that great of shape, but E&LS would sure be proud if they owned it! :)

Sulfur loads for the CSX race south on the Chicago Sub with a lashup that at one point, was commonplace along this line. The engineer is no doubt cutting the throttle to allow the hump at MP 137 to slow his train down enough that he can runaway from the rear end when it comes down the south side of the hogback. All to avoid an annoying run-in/possibility of spilling coffee...

A BNSF loaded Herzog ballast train makes its way south for Junction City as it crosses Lake Du Bay at Knowlton....This train was loaded at the Mathy Ballast pit near Mosinee Wisconsin
