WC Shotz

The crew of the Mellen-Prentice turn has made a stop at depot for paperwork and are backing onto their outbound train. Three days a week the train from Mellen and the train from Bradley meet at Prentice and trade southbound for northbound cars.

Hey, just to let ya know, you can use those ATSF SD45 trucks and edit the config on a cloned WC SD45 so you'll get one of those ex-ATSF SD45's bought by WC. I did it before, but lost the pictures on my old PC, which is nearing it's tenth b-day! ;)

Here are a few screens of the route I am working on. This is CNs Bradley Sub in the town of Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Please note that this is my first crack at route building and I have a ways to go before I am finished.

View taken from Phillip Street bridge.

Phillip Street Bridge Looking Southwest

The Paper Mill lead track can be seen here from the Phillip Street bridge that goes over the Wisconsin River. Nevermind the Conoco tank to the left as I am experimenting with stuff to see what fits and looks right. The track in the distance running is the CN mainline which heads west to Bradley.
Note: This is my first crack at building a route in Trainz and I am a beginner. Most, if not all of the images you see are incomplete and still needs work done.

Phillip Street Bridge Over Wisconsin River

The Wisconsin River meets Boom Lake.

Phillip Street Bridge Looking North

In the foreground is the bridge that crosses the Wisconsin River. To the right of the bridge would be the south end of Boom Lake. Straight ahead are the tracks that cross the street that go to the mill. The track closest to us is the Paper Mill lead track.

Phillip Street Looking West

This would be the Paper Mill lead track again. This used to be the old C&NW mainline that ran through town.

Nice job so far...Looks really good

Here we catch TO47 coming out of Milwaukee and hopping off the CP tracks and back onto WC home rails here at Duplainville

WC train YO913 (the 3M switch) is seen here going to work, as this train snakes and crawls its way thru the city of Wausau Wisconsin headed for the 3M plant on the west side of town

Forgot to add the engineer as when I got close to the train he gave off a dirty look on what the heck was I doing

Nice screens. I like the last photo which is sort of interesting. It is almost kind of creepy the way he is looking out at you. lol!
