WC Shotz

A time-honored tradition for the old Soo Line, a daily freight to Milwaukee was continued by Wisconsin Central....A connection track built here at Duplainville, Wisconsin, in the mid-1980's expedited this service to Wisconsin Centrals major industrial center...Train Number 46 is coming off the Chicago Sub here at Duplainville and hopping onto CP rails with 2 SD45's in charge of this good sized train today for Milwaukee

Do NOT Get Mad At WCL
These Are The SD9's I Was Refering To

I wasn't all at referring to anything you did. I thanked you for the compliment on my reskin. WCL has yet again failed to ask permission to send around my reskins to others to make adjustments for him. I only did FRV 2401 and have not yet done 2402 because I'm not even finished with the original skin.

Heading east a tardy train #944 hammers through Junction City after crossing the Milwaukee Road diamond.....Today's consist has 105 cars, with many that came from the CP Rail interchange at Portal, ND....The track in the foreground is the interchange track with the Milwaukee Road...Behind the 737 is a 118 car passing siding.....

M340 (Winnipeg to BRC Clearing) thunders south at track speed around "Leopard's Curve" near Theresa, WI on the old WC Chicago Sub. Traffic for Dubuque, IA and other customers along the old CCP main are on the head end during the final leg of this trains journey which makes setting them out at Hawthorne Yard easier. 340 also seems to be the train of choice as of late for returning the run through NS power that comes up on 341.

Train 12, the Gladstone to Fond du Lac train is seen here at Argonne....As its doing some pick ups and set outs in the yard before heading to Wisconsin Junction and head south down the Shawano Sub to Shawano to make a stop at the depot to swap crews

A CN track train is seen here at Neopit as it makes its way south to Neenah...This train was working on taking some tracks out of the yard up at Gladstone and Argonne

The train makes its way thru the small town of Gresham

Coming into Shawano the train crosses the Wolf River....The train will start to slow down and come to a stop to make a crew change at the depot in town and the new crew will continue onto Neenah where this crew will wait for train FDGLA tomorrow morning to take to Gladstone and come back on train GLFDA the next

Stopping at the depot in town to swap crews

The small yard in Argonne is still intact I think right? I wouldn't be surprised if they took it out eventually. I really wish CN would sell off the railroad to E&LS. It would be much better served by them, but I heard CN's asking price would be too much. I think they are asking a million per mile.

The Green Bay, WI, to Chicago, IL, manifest train A446 rolls right thru the North side of Neenah as it comes off the Fox River Sub and hops onto the Neenah Sub

Todays power for this train consists of a CN SD70M-2, a CN ex-WC SW1500 which came from Green Bay which will prolly be set out at Fond du Lac for a service and trailing is a CN SD50F

CN train M341 proceeds north at Duplainville after stopping and proceeding at a stop signal....L510 was sitting up at the north end of Duplainville waiting for 341 to pass

Where did you get that SD-70M-2?

That SD70M-2 is an old Payware item from Virtual Motive Divison, the engine is now no longer there, as is almost all of their Payware Items.
