Train L589 continues north. We are about 6 miles south of Bradley seen here passing through Tomahawk.

Crossing over Highway 8 here in Bradley. Originally, we had an estimation that this train would arrive in Bradley at 11:20 PM. We were damn close as it is 11:30. Bradley will arise from what so far has been a silent, crisp, and cool evening. If nearby residents are sleeping they may be woken up by the rumblings of L589 coming into town. Also, we will be getting help from the local that sits in Bradley as I mentioned a few days ago when I posted some pics. The local will help place the cars onto the sidings here at Bradley from the freight brought up from the south.

Making the turn onto the Bradley Sub. The train to the left will turn on its lights and start up once L589 has distributed some of its train into the sidings at Bradley.

The local breaks away from the cars it was originally coupled up to. These set of cars will roll south to Wausau, but before we do that the local is going to take the leftover cars from L589 and place the cars on siding closest to the top of the screen.

As the local takes the cars to the siding, the crew that will take the train to Wausau sits on the log loading spur siding. We needed to pull into the log loading spur track to allow the local to couple up to the remaining freight that came up from Wausau so they can place the rest of the remaining cars on the siding. As you may recall the sidings to the left were empty before L589 arrived. So, the freight you see sitting to the left are cars brought up from the south. These cars will be broken up into whatever necessary order they need to be put in once the southbound train leaves Bradley. The local's first duty once L588 has left town (train L589 turns into L588 when they turn to go back south) will be to sort its train so he can make the night run up to Park Falls. The Bradley-Park Falls train is train L584 and runs during the night time.

The local has went back to its originally waiting spot, coupled up to the train as we will be hauling it across the crossing and clear the switch so that our 2 loco's can couple up and head out of town to take the train south to Wausau.

CN M343 heads north at Duplainville on its way towards Fond du Lac....A few rail fans catch the action...Today is a nice day to RR fan...I am sure they will see a lot of trains on the CN and CP as the CP diamond is only a few yards from here

That loco won't be available for a long time. But keep watching for more pix of it coming soon your way.

The route pics are great! How long have you been working on it? It seems like a long time, and I'm just curious!
