Water Effects

When I go into the world settings in Surveyor, I am unable to change the type of water. It stays glassy no matter what I choose.

Any ideas?

Can I download anything to fix this problem?

In Surveyor, go to the World tab, an on the bottom you will see Water options

I tried that. I select Choppy water but the water doesn't change. It worked fine in 2004, but I just purchased 2006 and it seems to do nothing.

If I re-istall the entire program, will I lose all the stuff I have downloaded?

Sorry, I don't use 06, maybe someone else can answer that.

Yep, you'll want to copy your local folder somewhere, then copy it back after re-installing.

Hi, before re-installing try to switch between OpenGL and DirectX :
Trainz > Options > Display Settings

Are you using an ATI graphics card? and also have you installed the service pack that you must do imediatly after installing the main program befor starting it?
The rippling water not working was a bug in the original TRS'06 with ATI graphics cards but is now fixed with the service pack.
