Vista Question

I'm in between surgeries and will be stuck in bed for a while after the surgery next week. I have a loaned laptop temporarily so I can work on trainz until I can use the desktop again.

I'm an XP kind of a guy and this laptop has Vista. The normal pop up boxes (that allow you to save something, OK, or "Apply") are very large. They go off the bottom of the screen so that I can't access the buttons at the bottom of the pop ups.

The resolution on the laptop is on the highest setting, so changing the resolution didn't help. It seems like this should be a simple problem to fix, but I can't figure it out. Any Vista users out there that can help?
Thanks!

Similar problem, to Jim Dep.

My setting,at first was 1280 x 1024 - which ran my program pretty good.tried as low as 800 x 600 but no good - program fails to initialise.

another probem is those text screens that I, at least, cannot return to Trainz from.

I have run Trainz since UTC and all versions that follow3ed. Never had a versiion that I couldn't run happily in 2 - 3 hrs. #
