TRS2022PE Surveyor question

I bought PE quite recently and when I took a look at my older routes I upgraded to PE I found that the terrain had become "bumpy." By this, I mean that underneath, say, a parking lot spline, the ground is poking through. When I force that one corner down, two more pop up across from it. I cannot seem to smooth the ground out any more using the "set ground height" tool. Is this caused by TurfX? And, if so, can it be turned off?

Try lowering your Shader quality a notch in the performance tab of the launcher. It might be the height map of the textures that N3V upgraded in TRS22 PE.

Thanks weeder, this worked for me. When i put a texture down the height map would lower and now it does not.

And, yes, that did work. I can see places where having the terrain a little uneven would enhance a scene, but for the most part, when I put down a texture, or a piece of scenery, I like it not to have dirt (or whatever texture is under it) poking up through it.

This mainly happens when I use a Ballast texture under track. I just go over the track with the same texture and the ground settles back flat.
