I really like the look of this one. Looks like it will be all you said it would be Collin. But wow, 900 boards ! Thats not going to come sooooon. Have you thought of a staged release? (the Trainz community is not known for its patience!)

You'll need a good paint program, like Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop or the GIMP.
First, clone the asset in CMP, so you have a copy to work from. Then, in CMP, open for edit in explorer, then open the .TGA files and repaint.
This would be for your own use only. If you want to release them for other people to use, you'll want to talk to bdaneal :)

Just a minor update, with a new water tower, a former passenger depot now used as a railroad bunkhouse, and new versions of Cabooses Nos 9 and 10 (after the side doors were removed):

WOW

You all are really making some progress there on the V&T

I am sure by now you have seen the latest Narrow Gauge and Short line Gazzette too, More loco plans in the Nov Dec 07 for the V&T

Nice work. Great use of forced shadowing on the water tower and the subtle weathering on the caboose. Those bogeys have nice texturing technique also.

Yes, some nice drawings of the 'Reno'! They haven't been publishing as many plans for the V&T lately, so that was a nice surprise...

Some good and bad news. First, the bad. Collin's system has died, and he lost all the work he had done on the route. Because of this loss, the route is on hold indefinitely.

The good news is that there's no reason to hold onto the custom content until the route is completed. Ben has released the Reno, the Genoa, and the Inyo on his website (look in the standard gauge download section of http://www.steammachine.com/bdaneal/.) He's done a really nice job on these - they even include custom cabs!
These locomotives are shown below in front of the Carson City enginehouse.

I'm in the process of cleaning up some rolling stock and other content to go with these, and should be releasing it all next week.

Enjoy!

Whoa thats a bummer Colin
But I'm downloading these beauties for my western worlds Many Thanks Hope someone else has a backup

Well, I decided to restart the route. I'm starting from Reno and heading South. I'm basing it in the 1918-1922 timeframe, as I have a number of maps and other data from that period. Anyone want to make a bunch of Model-T's? :P
