No, you don't need to install TANE. The TANE routes will automagically appear as purchased items in 19 , you only need to install them in TRS19, so no need to transfer files. The sessions for the TANE routes do work better in TANE though.

Right. In that case, which version should i buy? As it shows that the standard edition only comes four routes.

Those being as follows.

1. Kidckstarter County

2. C&O Hinton Division

3. ECML Kings Cross - Edinburgh

4. Healesville 1910

Speaking of Healesville, there's a 2019 ready DLC of that route available as well.

I would recommend the platimum or deluxe editions; more routes, more assets to cover missing deps from mine and other routes, just more of everything. I bought TS12 for similar reasons, but mainly to swap speedtrees to TANE

The deed has been done.

Even though it says i have the standard edition, i do have the Platinum edition. I'll just chock that up to how Steam distributes the game.

In the launcher go into trainz settings then install. Then go to 'change trainz update stream' select the planinum option let it do it's thing then i think you have to do a restart for it to show up.
