USA Pics (electric)

Sounds like a big undertaking, looks okay to me but you might want to try the JR NS Track in one of the american Intermodal Dep Packs, and the tress on the hill could be thicker. I don't know if they are like that in that area.

I've never quite settled on tracks, I'll look into those JR tracks, thanks! The loss of trees is strictly due to the change to TS12SP1HF4. Irritating isn't it?

Decided to run some electrics for a change... :)

Hello Matt,
it is always a good idea to run some electrics :-)

@all: Nice screenshots - thanks for sharing :-)

Here just some visitors from TS12 in T:ANE - Season Town.

I like your new route in tane, tume but I love your Municipal Railway!

When I work on getting all the older trolleys, trams, and etc. working I always work here at the shops.

Hello Normhart,

thank you for your compliment and that nice screenshot. I have not looked into the Municipal Route for quite a long time. I wish all the content in that route would support season change.
The Season Town route was originally a test layout which I started to have a nice test area to check how my newly created assets looks like. I found out, that is it better to test new content e.g. buildings in a piece of environment rather than on a naked baseboard. Therefore I placed some new, seasonal ground textures, houses, roads, power lines and streetcar tracks in a line to see how all these objects looks like next to each other. Eventually this was the first moment of a test-layout which has later been developed to the route Season Town.
More seasonal content would have resulted in a larger route, but I don’t had the time to create new seasonal content in a number like used in the Municipal Route. And also it makes not too much sense to create a very large city route with a limited number of buildings because the result would be a large, but quite boring route.

But it is very nice to see that people still enjoy my Municipal Route – even as playground for a lot of streetcars.

I'd forgotten how cool the Municipal route was at night. Real well done TUME!

And... Wait a second TUME, what is that orange and black streetcar at the back of that row in your last screenie?

Edit, actually I see that all three PCCs are not included in Season Town... The first two look like imports from the Municipal route but that last one...

I've created some urban and suburban content that's poly-friendly too. If there's anything you might want, should you consider restarting your project, feel free to ask. I'd have done some seasonal stuff but didn't think there was much demand for it.

Nice shots there TrackLock2. That reminds me. I got to get the rest of my Electrics imported into TANE.

Thank you. I'm still trying to get the whole "scenery" thing down, though.;)

Yes

Nice Paul, are these going to be on TPR?

That's the plan. Posted these here because they were generated preparing the submission package, then playing around with some settings in PaintshopPro(tm) (the "unsharpen" setting gives an effect sort of like a 1950s harshly-separated color lithograph).

It's been a while since I submitted anything to TPR, hope I remember how.

Yeah, that's about all TANE is good for at this point. I am doing all of my work in TS12 until at least the next update when more of the bugs are out of it. For the New Haven Coastal route that means mostly backdating assets, like removing those modern cars seen in the first shot above and adding passenger stations as seen in the third shot above. Mostly replacing each of the dozens of industries with something that is similar but more in keeping with a 1930-1950 era feeling. This facility was a container operation in msgsapper's New England Coastal route now it's piggy back. We will see if it turns out to be usable but it is certainly keeping me off the streets. (BTW that is with TANE shadows at Low and 2048 res.)

Here is what the facility looks like in msgsapper's most recent version of the New England Coastal route. (TANE)

I am working off his original version so trees, hills, and track locations are quite different even before I started messing with it.

This is what gfisher's Mad River route looks like, it is what msgsapper included in his compellation. (TS12SP1HF4)

That reminds me, I need to get rid of that highway bridge... so many trainz projects, so little time.
