Unknpwn Symbol in CM 3.7?

Does anyone know what the orange circle symbol means that is shown below on the far left of the picture? That item, and others, are totally locked. On my miserable system. Some are faulty products/commodities and thus N3V prevents the display of other products that are available.

I think this means it is a locked (protected) and built-in item that can't be modified.

See if there are any updates on the DLS from Auran that can fix these.

That is the strange part. There are many items that say "built-in" with a mouse-over. But only a few have this symbol. Those that do not have the symbol allow editing. You can always revert to the original. Those with the symbol only allow you to "look" at the config file but other edit functions are blocked.

That's due to the privileges container - assets with this are either payware content, unable to be opened for edit, unable to be committed, or not showing in Surveyor listings.

The question then becomes, does the product filter reject such labeled assets thus preventing any product assets from displaying when a customer attempts to add a product to a rail-car?

There are so many twists and turns in the Trainz environment, a casual customer can easily get into trouble if they were to stray from a fairly narrow entertainment path.

The symbol simply means that it's copy- and write-protected. In other words, the end user is not permitted to open the content for edit or make a clone of it in Content Manager. It should not have any effect on the Surveyor listings.

It's far more likely that the source of your problem is an asset that's not built-in or locked from editing. I remember someone referencing a list of products known to be faulty, among them the "Rusty Rebar - 40ft - Load" by arr. Check Trainz for assets flagged 'Faulty', then select all of those, right-click, and select "View Errors and Warnings" to clear any false positives.
