Unknown assets for DL content

I am new to TRAINZ and am working with the latest version. I have been trying to additional download content using the Content Manager and find that about half the content I DL results in missing dependencies that show up as unknown assets when I try to download them. What can I do when I hit that problem, or do I just give up on the content which contains such items? I am not complaining but just worried that I might be unaware of a solution.

Is there any list of the most popular sessions to download (which do not contain unknown assets)?

Unknown usually means the items are not on the DLS but on a third party site, ideally where to get them should be in the description, however frequent hints that this would be a good idea falls on deaf ears.

So basically you have to search the web to try and find them, easiest is the kuidindex https://www.trainzkuidindex.com/ however that has recently moved over to a subscription service.

Afraid there is no list of routes without missing dependencies.
