Hert,
What are you going to use the shut that embankment ends up? Brick wall? Abutment?

Cheers,
Joshua

Can I offer a suggestion?

What I did for a narrow brick end, I closed it with an abutment. Sadly, the abutment was too wide, and you could see through it's single-sided texture. So, I added two abutments, one to close of the rear showing from the first abutment, and the other to both close the secondary abutment and the wall.

Did I lose you? ;)

Cheers,
Joshua

Here is mine. I apologize that it is so oversharpened. I hate to have the arrows in there, I almost never do that (they are so annoying), but I couldn't get the angle in driver. I used Alt + Y and found this angle, along with the sky the scene looked very dark and sinister. That sky is EP1 Sky #14.

This shot is from the route I just started. It resembles Nebraska and has loads of traffic. The train seen is the local 566, which brings empty grain cars in from Bodensburgh yard, the main hub, 30 miles away. This is the last stop; only about 8 cars remained, however when it left Bodensburgh, there were about 23 cars, all empty grain hoppers. These cars would be picked up loaded the next morning by the other local, 515, which also originates from Bodensburgh. Once 515 returns with all the loaded grain cars, they would be sorted into where they needed to go, then put onto an according mainline freight.

On my side of the tracks...

Been super busy with "real life" stuff:eek: , havent had much time to spend on Trainz.

Last night out of the blue I downloaded the patch for my TS2009 build 38411, there was nothing wrong with the way my game was working, I was just wondering if I was really missing something good so I figured I'd patch it.

I havent spent much time on it since I patched it, but did notice a couple nice things I didnt have, like the new window that pops up when going from surveyor to driver mode, a couple other small differences but nothing to write home about, still, I'm glad I did it, it didnt screw anything up, my game still runs as Great as it always has:D .

Keep those shots coming folks!

Good stuff, any chance of turning those into the business car fleet?
The UP passenger cars actually started out as models of the business car fleet. But in the metamorphisis of the project, changing this, changing that, I changed my mind and renamed all of those that were named for business cars back to the UP fleet of the late 50's and early 60's. Mainly because I rode those trains. I'll see if I have enough gas when I get closer to release, I might include some business cars-it won't take a lot-the way I've done these is sort of unique in that each car has it's own set of decals. So I could create decals for the business car fleet. But even the smallest details can sometimes become monumental. So it sort of depends on my state of mind at the time. Right now, I've scaled back some on the UP stuff, because I'm starting to lose interest. So I've reopened another old project and I'm kind of dividing my time between the two. I'd really like to get the UP set done, but it takes a lot of time, a lot of patience. And spring is coming, so I'll be spending less time at the computer...;)

A set of UP switchers, is seen here switching out the co-op, on this summer dreary like day

WCL, GREAT SHOT! :Y:

OK Hert & WCL, since you guys are posting UP switcher/local engines at work, heres a pic to tie in with them, two fairly fresh painted GP40M2's:) .

Wow, I wish I could load that! Hehe, I had that route! With 60 percent of the dependencies missing, it still took my computer 2 hours to hardly load it in Surveyor!

Cheers,
Joshua

It SUCKS! :hehe: No, it doesn't. I like how the rock texture is used with the snow, and that freight depot is great!

Now,
I see that crossing has come a long way. *sigh* I remember when it was just track and signal in the good ol' days. However, that looks much better than the good ol' days, hert! ;)

Cheers,
Joshua
