davesnow, Great shots!:D

SantaFebuff, if it is Joe's mesh, it sure isnt Joe's skin on it, notice the yellow handrail stanchions, they are yellow, not Joe's skin;) .

kittycraft, Thanks for answering the question:D , I think you were right on all counts except for the UP caboose, a good friend of mine passed it on to me under the condition that i keep it to myself.

Jimi, your 100% correct, those powerlines come with the Sherman Hill route;) .

Jean:wave: , Thanks!

Iam really starting to like how Glacier Peak is turning out. You can see in the very back of the background still lots more work needs to be done.

Thanks Chris!:)

Yes, my computer handles TS2009 without a hitch:D , I have my own business on the side doing CGI work, my computer and the software I use to do that way exceeds what it takes to run Trainz;) .

MalignusPL, Thank you very much for the complement:) , it was really appreciated! :D

The easiest way to answer your question is with my own quote from two pages back, the pic your talking about is from the same route...

Joe, I am just dieing for your route to be released:udrool: , but to tied me over I found a route that looks kinda close to yours, its "Desert Mountain Plains" by neilsmith749, its a Great route, kinda has that cali look to it, sadly the grass it has disappears quickly though, and I have my game set on the highest settings, so anyways, to solve that problem I deleted all the grass from the route and re-grassed it with JVC and TrainzItallia's payware grass splines, then added in various non-spline JVC grasses, shrubs and wildflowers...

MalignusPL, one more thing, the link you have in my quote isnt from me:confused: , the picture thats in the post you took the quote from is this one...

Rarely ever when looking at grass or a field will you see all the grass looking exactly the same, most always you will see various coloring in spots and weeds or some type of wildflowers/herbs in it, so no matter what I am grassing or putting vegitation in, thats what i try to portray, I try and get the route to look as real as possible;) .

I hope that helped,
- Deano

Keep in mind that your settings have nothing to do with the grass disappearing. The grass was designed like that by the creator to be easier on frame rates. If you open the configs of those grasses, and delete the "unit mesh" line, those grasses will show up as far as the eye can see.

cascaderailroad, I dont have TS10, but I have yet to find a reason to upgrade to it, I am more then happy with TS09;) . Perhaps when the next version of Trainz comes out it will offer enough to get me to buy it.

neilsmith749:wave: , WOW, Love your route, definitely one of my favorite routes to run on, obviously, looking at all the shots I have recently posted of it:D .

I never even considered the fact that the grass was created to disappear quickly to improve frame rates:o . If I had a "slower" PC I guess I would have really appreciated the grass, you done a Fantastic Job on the route, wish I would have known how to adjust the grass before I re-grassed it:( , Thanks for the info though, if I run across that problem again now I know how to fix it:) .

Thanks for the nice words! If you liked DMP - you may really like UMR2010, if you decide to buy it. It includes DMP as part of a 250mile route. Anyway, I hope you continue to enjoy it.
