Chris, Real Nice shot & concept!:D I think a steamer would have hit the mark a touch better then the gas Turbine though, but still, NICE JOB!
(Side note: Chris, cripes, now your advertising your the "Grammar Police"...dude, everybody can get along with a decent kid, but next to nobody wants to hang out with someone that wants to be their 9th grade English teacher...might want to think about that;) . Hey, we are all for good grammar, but nobody on here is a really that bad, unless they cant speak English well, or have a disability. I was a moderator on a forum for a few years and have encountered several "Grammar Police", usually they just ended up doing more damage then good, NOT picking on you at all mind you, just trying to help avoid what could end up happening.)

Mike, Truly Awesome shots!:Y:

Hert, WOW! , I really like that shot!

You guessed it, TWO MORE TOTALLY NEW UP SD40-2 Snoot nose's...

Of ALL the NEW UP SD40-2 series engines Joe(RRMods) has been working on, THESE are Bar-None my all time favorites. These two engines have wear & tear on them, the paint is peeling, they are faded, and rust is showing up on them from years of faithful service. Though not physically pristine on the exterior, they are still mechanically in great shape and continue to serve the UP well.

The detail and realism Joe has put into these engines is just flat out Stupendous! Below is a few shots of them on my route...

Chris, Glad you took what I said the right way:) , I was totally sincere. I have known you for awhile now and always thought you to be pretty decent:D , you can make yourself be known as anything you want, but the "Grammar police" , though your intentions are good, its not always a good thing to be known for:p .

-ENOUGH SAID-

Take care my friend:) ,

on the branch

A couple of RS-3's creep along a northwest branch line.

Even though the UP didn't have RS-3's (they had RS-2's) I thought I would do one. The Trucks are not the right color, but Ill see if I can change that.

Crohakon,

Nice route you got there. You got to love all the detail in certain areas.

But one thing I have to point out, and alothough I am not the greatist in texturing, might I suggest you hit or hold the [ and ] keys when texturing? It breaks up the direction, giving it a less uniform look.

Just info from one route builder to another

Yeah, I am aware of that already. The route is a major work in progress. Most of those large areas of green are just temporary as I have plans to expand the city. I mean, currently I have zero houses aside from one farm house. The texture work was done just so I did not have to stair at the gray lined texture. In time it will be covered by buildings, grasses, trees, etc and if it is not covered I will do to it what I have done in the forest areas.

Thanks for the positive feedback. It helps keep the momentum going. :)
