Unable to download CONTZ Pack <kuid:869361:978>

Hi guys,

I have a fresh install of TS12 here. The only custom content I've installed is a Route I'm working on. I pulled said route into the Download Helper and it started to search for and acquire the dependencies that are on the DLS. Now it's stopped and it's telling me in an angry big red bar:

Unable to download '<kuid:869361:978>. Couldn't obtain a download URL. Item cannot be found on the Download Station.

An asset is highlighted red in the Download Helper pane, it says "CONTZ Pack - Standard Edition". I also tried searching Black Pages but that didn't turn up anything. This is funny, because I've never bought any CONTZ Pack or whatever, ever. The only thing related to Ocemy's CONTZ I've used in the route is the container yard, and that is a TS12 built-in asset.

I remember quite recently other people have had issues with the internal updater and the CONTZ assets. Could this be related?

ALSO! If there is a problem with this asset, why can't CMP just bloody ignore it and continue with my 900+MB of other dependencies? I have some free time (noun; a rare commodity) now and I'd like to work on the route, but am withheld by Trainz and it's millon other faults. As usual.

This is a known issue.that was resolved yesterday. The CONTZ pack is payware and cannot be downloaded using Content Manager. Remove the asset from the Download Helper pane.

Hi Shane,

Thank you for the quick reply. I only wish I could thank you for helping me solve two different issues using one solution in one day. Alas, I cannot. As CMP now tells me angrily:

Unable to download <kuid:869361:978>. Couldn't obtain a download URL. Item cannot be found on the Download Station.

Ok. I think I have worked out what's going on here.

That particular kuid is for one of weevil's curveable bridges. Which is not on the DLS. An infinitely useful asset that I don't know what I'd do without now that I'm trying to get rid of the non-DLS stuff. And that's what CMP is doing, telling me - one by one - all the stuff that are not on the DLS.

Which brings me to the astonishing conclusion that CMP has downloaded over 900MB of dependencies in one afternoon while I was at my grandma's house wishing her a jolly Mother's Day. What's happened now is CMP has obediently acquired all the asset on the DLS and instead of ignoring the rest, politely tells me they're not on the DLS.

I feel so bad. Poor CMP has been misunderstood.

That can happen sometimes. If you happen to have TS12 SP1 installed, using the On Download Station=False search term will show you assets that are not on the Download Station.
