As some will know from a while back, I have been slowly working on the whole of the NIR's 6 routes in the Province and it is taking quite a time inbetween other things. For anyone not aware of what has been done this will give an idea.
(1) Belfast - Bangor - done.
(2) Belfast - Newry/Border - done
(3) Belfast - Londonderry - done
(4) Coleraine - Portrush - done.
(5) Lisburn - Antrim Junction - done (line mothballed for now in the hope of future re-opening).
(6) Belfast - Larne (Town) and ( Larne (Harbour). Working on it at present and reached the approaches to Whitehead so far.
My hope is that I can get the Larne Line done fairly soon thus completing what is left of a once massive networkin Northern Ireland. and giving a complete system from acros the Irish Sea. However there is an addition. My intention is to continue over the Border (track laid as far as where Dundalk isdeep into the countryside) all the way to Dublin (Connolly). This would include the DART vranch north of Dublin and the (for now) goods only branch going off at Drogheda as well. On Tuesday, I hope to spend some time this Tuesday (27 Nov) making a slideshow of all the routes above on my website then announce it here. This will give a chance to see how this whole of the N.I.R. is doing on Trainz (!).
