UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

I've merged with this station I built ages ago. There's loads of trees to dig up, lots of missing content, which may now be obsolete, which the content manager seems to be telling me and all the roads to have to redo. I just wonder if the upgrade is worth the effort and I have to sympathise with the content makers who's work is all for nothing (in the case where it won't load into the upgrade).

I appreciate the program and if I was coming straight into it wouldn't be aware of any problem with starting from scratch and could enjoy it. Anyone who finds realistic trees, please inform me of the garden centre, LOL.

hi escafeld i had the same problem as you i was so used to the 2d trees and thought they looked allot better than speed trees well the built in speed trees anyways. I have found a website with very good speed trees that nexusdj informed me of they look allot better and do the trick for me http://429786.ucoz.com/load. The site is Russian but chrome will translate it they have no image of the trees and shrubs so i just downloaded lots and im very happy with them. If im honest they look how a speed tree should not a lump of leaves i think you may like them allot better. There are some nice hi res 2d trees in trs12 mostly the shrubs are only good they are in the object and spline section ''d Ak'' there are lots of different names but start with the letter d just flick through them. They look good mixed in with the new pofig speed trees as shrub hope this has helped. The speed trees are made by ''pofig'' and 2d foliage by ''trainz666''

Thanks, sleek, are these built-in content, please?

Photobucket - Yes, I look at some of my originals and Photobucket copies and see the difference. Must be down to compression.

pofigs are not on the DLS unfortunately, has a restricted SpeedTree Licence, trainz666 which are non speedtree are on the DLS.

Better chuck in a screenshot I guess! Trees and bushes all pofig, grass jankvis, lot of his older stuff works well in TS12, just need to hunt it out!

pofigs trees are only available from his site or there are quite a few packs on various sites. SpeedTrees need a very expensive modeller and it costs thousands for the full version, pofig has a very restricted licence version so they can't be used commercially so not DLS.

Hi clam1952. Thanks, I got the second bit about trainz666, being on the DLS, but not sure what you mean about pofigs. Regards, Dave
hi dave pofig website http://429786.ucoz.com/load and the 2d trainz666 are built in to trainz 12 start with the letter d on the object they are in russian and there are a few and also more on the dls with no issues for me like most 2d trees

Scania have bought 5 Class 92's and have received 2 more PRIMA 2 demonstrators from Alstom. This indicates they also want the new PRIMA's too. Also Siemens have sent a Vectron over for evaluation. The 92's will haul scrap trains to Teeford and Wendover. The 86's are for sale, and their 66's continue to work normally with 5 European ones entering service.

Probably not what George had in mind. Ignore the stray chimney, I meant to put that inside the other one to create smoke.

I've had a go at joining the platforms. Here are the results, I don't think its to bad for a first attempt, will need more practise though.

:clap:Great stuff Dave! I was trying a few of these posters last summer, but got cold feet because I wasn't sure about the copyright situation. Looks like yours have an 80s feel, whereas my signage was meant to be 1970s:
