UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Excellent screenies everyone. I must post some soon :hehe:
@WEN:
Could you also please have a look at the bogies on the 30x units as they are slightly 'floating' off of the track by about 3mm?

Many thanks

That gives me some incentive to fix those really wierd and strange errors that appear on the stock, like the cab being too high. :)

EDIT: Quick question, what graphics card are you using? I had a quick look at the video posted and it does seem to like flashing the screen....

Im not sure what my graphics card is, I looked at a diagnostic tool thingy and it comes up with ATI Radeon 3000 Graphics and other random stuff. But I think the reason why the video is flashing is because I filmed it in full screen, which causes lag etc, unlike my other vids which are filmed in smaller screens...

...and to avoid double posting I though i'd add a pic.

What driver version? There should be newer ones available, having said that, I don't think my Mobility Radeon X700 behaves like that.

@Nexusdj Great Flying Scotsman and Silver Set but its not on the DLS. Where can I get it?

And for everyone else great shots I will be uploading my own soon :)

Hi WEN. While you're in the mind for fixing things, the cab position on your 305s is at ground level. I wouldn't mind doing a couple of Glasgow related reskins as they're great EMUs but not with the cab as is. tmz06003 and uky901y did a set of updated reskins but the cab height is still incorrect.

Sorry to be a pain.

Great shots everyone!

London Midland 153s at Penzance??

First Great Western have hired LM 153333 and 153325 for their summer timetable. Today they went down to Penzance.

That was there, because I did have a cab in development that is half completed (reference and time issues) that uses the cab at this point, so the cab you see is merely temporary. IF anyone has any photos of the cab interior (Back wall and the like), please post them, I could do with some. :)
Oh and some of all variants of the Tyneside 1938 stock as I want to attempt that project again, likewise.

Nice screenies everyone, but I have to say that these privatisation liveries seen in recent screenshots, especially the one in post 10,844, are just awful. They actually manage to make trains look undignified, something I never thought I'd say!

(And no offence intended to the creators of those reskins, I know you're merely copying what you see in real life - not your fault that those trains look like an accident in a paintshop!)

The shadow of progress...

I have been playing around with Dinorius redundicus' excellent derelict items. Not a train, or anything remotely dignified, in these screenshots - just the sad remains of a farm which has succumbed to the distant march of 'progress'.

WHAT? Is that actually a real livery? Holy cremola*, I actually thought it was just a spoof. No offence...

*I actually wanted to use some severe potty mouth there.

Believe it or not, it actually is, its a Class 319, 319364 which was painted in a special livery in 2007 IIRC, to mark the start of the Thameslink improvement programme, part of which included the closed Moorgate to Farringdon branch (it was use to partially celerbrate this fact as well.) It does have a nickname, the "Refreshers" livery. Think of the sweets you or I used to eat when we were younger, actually, its given me a slight fetish for some. :)

Here is a pic of the real thing*:http://www.railwayherald.co.uk/imag...?image=161455&gallery=X4&raildiary=2010-08-04

EDIT: Ooops! Wrong agian, I thought there were 2, but only found references to one, the other is 319365.

*Sunglasses not included.

Get a hoover nozzle and clean out all the air vents that you can find. If you are confident enough take the side off too and make sure that the inside is free from accumulations of dust
