Far worse in fact, the windows look the wrong side and the cab looks wrong as the lights don't look right.

@ scrathlight, pfx didnt mean your reskins were bad, he was saying that the real livery on the real thing was bad, your reskin (especially the second one you've shown of the 319 unit) is good, so dont be discouraged, like i said, he was talking about the real thing, not your skin

Scratchlight, don't give up trying. We all started somewhere. My first reskins are pretty rubbish and I would take them off the DLS if I could. They've got gradually better in time and it is actually possible to recreate an entirely different cab front on another unit.
An example is for my DART units, which used one of nexus' arrr, urrrm, some EMU, a 321 I think. I redrew the lightclusters and fiddled with the windscreen to make them more like the prototype and used PEVs mesh viewer to check they were in the correct place. It's time consuming but worth it.

Thats the thing, to do a reskin takes more than 20 seconds in paint, my first skins (as I didn't do reskins in Trainz) were also rubbish, but I used paint, hence why they are soo rubbish, later on as I built better models, the quality of my skins improved and they are still improving.
Big tip Scratchlight, look at some photoshop/gimp tutorials, what you learn in drawing will help you immensely.

Time to develop: 2 hours. Time to learn how to use Photoshop: 6 years. (And I still only know 10% of Photoshop, most of that was learning hints, tips and tricks from other people and even a photoshop course, which helped immensely.)
I'm just curious as to why that DB Class 66 has a maple leaf. Does anyone know its story? I'm pretty sure DB doesn't operate over in Canada.

I'd keep both, I love variety on my content and the more variety, the better. The only thing I will say, is play around with the black mask so that it looks right, it takes a while, but the results are worth it.
What program are you using by the way?

You may laugh, but the programs im currently using are Windows 7 paint and occasionally irfanview and serif drawplus5. Thats all thats available atm. Im planning on buying the Adobe Studio thing which includes a photoshop though

Avoid photoshop Elements light the plauge, it has no drawing capabilities at all and therefore, useless for Trainz. Get Photoshop, leave it at photoshop, don't bother with the studio stuff, unless you want to do any other editing like sites (then again, for quick sites, use something like Joomla, wordpress or other contnet management systems as they are far more dynamic. Better still, try Net Objects Fusion)
I take it you mean Midshire version3 ?
You'll have to be more specific on which content is missing plus there's a midshire thread on here to save cluttering up the screenshots thread .
Make a list of the missing content and post it to the midshire thread and I'll hopefully point you in the right direction .

I play World of Warcraft, and in tribute to the late dwarven King Magni Bronzebeard, I Bought a Clan Class off paulztrainz. I asked Paul if could have it in Wartime Black, and named Clan Bronzebeard. Which he did. The route I was on is Colhad's Castle. Really nice route.
