An update on my almost finished one board route

Overall view of the board. I have changed the colour of the canal to something more suitable and the scenery is generally complete. The terminus is in the top right hand corner, goods yard in the top left. The white area lower left is a cement production works. In the middle of the board is a Black 5 with a rake of 6 coaches which will wind its way in a clockwise circle and disappear into the portal inside the tunnel beneath the farm on the right

@ 4ndylloyd - That's a cracking job you've done there. You've even managed to avoid too-tight bends.

Thanks pfx....I'll take that as a compliment based on some of the screenies that I have seen posted by you :D

Nice shots and layouts everyone.

Somewhere in Lincolnshire - OK, the bus is from Nottinghamshire, but it's just strayed off the border. As it's Lincolnshire it was necessary to have a church in the shot as there are over 650 in the County. I should know as I've photographed over 300 of 'em. It might look a tranquil scene, but there's an oil refinery springing up in the next square.

Ever since I decided to make something for the DLS I've had a problem with maps. Trainz can see them, TrainzObjectz can see them and even give them a kuid number, but they don't exist in the Map folder, nor in the Downloads folder. A search for the kuids in Auran reveals nothing, so where the heck they are is a mystery to me.

I bought a 'new' version of Trainz2004 and completely deleted the old one. Once the 'new' version was installed, with nothing in the Map folder, there they all were in Surveyor. Ghost trains, or what!?

BTW, it would be nice if vehicles would allow 'rolling' and then you could place them driving up or down hill.

Can someone please direct me to the tower in this picture please?
Cheers,
Arran

203mph? Hehe.

@ 4ndylloyd - I'm actually inspired by your single board route. It takes skill to fit it all in without making things too crowded. I think there's probably a market for that kind of route with the option to connect them. I'd give it a go myself but I'm a tad busy at present...

Some shots from me, a first for a while:

Spot the difference! The other thing, is it me or does the fully glass roof, make the station feel brighter?

One thing I think it does, is make it look better in the evenings :) The sky has been deliberately made to go a deep orange hue.
