ugly trains

i dislike aem-7's. i mean, what if those SEPTA aem-7's accidentally go up to high speed like Amtrak??? and they look a little bit ugly.

and the SOAC (State of the art car) may look fancy inside but ugly on the outside. http://www.nycsubway.org/perl/show?7193

Uh, oh, I'm about to have a flashback!

*insert cheesy flashback fade and harp music here*

Trains magazine said that without the transition cars, the Talgos brackted by two F59's would look "like a great dane being chased by a pack of chihuahuas" (did I spell that right?).

*insert cheesy end-of-flashback fade and harp music*

Well, there you have it, then.

:p

Yeah, I agree with you there Chris. Funny thing is most of these "ugly" locos aren't ugly to me; they are really interesting and strange. Much nicer than all those ho-hum normal looking things! :hehe:

That CP RS-3 whatever...it looks frankensteined! Maybe it had an accident and so they had to chop off the front and add parts. If you look near the bottom left, it looks like part of the white from the pacman logo.

Still, that isn't beautiful, but I agree: every train has some degree of attraction to it...after all, we're all here right?

I'll post something ugly when I come across it. :)

Gisa ^^
