Two strange errors...

Well, not errors. More developments.

First: I installed one of the patches, and suddenly all the commodities on the select screen for the train cars vanished. Honestly, as I do route building more than anything, THAT I could deal with.

However today this happened:

While working on a route for someone else, I decided to give it a test run. So, I whip out my favorite cars (the R Stock) and find that now they're red, like they have errors, the NDT works fine, but I can't get the Driving Motor to even show in Trainz. It worked fine last night, so I dunno. I did a database repair and thought that'd help, but it seemed to cause even MORE of my content to quit working.

Any help?

I would advise searching for Faulty:True in Content Manager, then selecting all the found items and using View Errors and Warnings.

OK this is going to sound way to easy. I have had this same thing happen more times than I care to count. Normally what fixes it for me is I go to the faulty items in CDP and then check all for errors. 9 times out of 10 that takes care of it, providing nothing was wrong with asset to begin with. I know it sounds easy, but it works (at times)

Took a quick look at the content, and it's telling me there's an "update" available for the things. Couple missing dependencies also, but that I can live with. (LU and LT stock. Never figured out what was missing from them)

Could it be that the "available" update is actually not available because it has a TS12 trainz-build number, and you only have TS2010?

If some creator has suddenly updated an asset on the DLS, it might explain why it was all working yesterday for you, but not today. I'm getting similar inconsistencies caused by narrowgauge's updates of the North Bay route and sessions. I don't understand why TS2010 is even aware of an update if the build number is for a later version and therefore can't actually be used.
