as you asked fore some 4-8-4- screens, here we go :-)

@ all:
Please don't ask about a release time. I described everything some pages before.
If you compare these screens with the screens of the Nickel Plate Road Steam Loco been released at N3V a short time ago you can see that my 4-8-4 still needs some attention and additional things to be created.

Hallo,

below some screens of my latest seasonal tank cars. This time I created a SINCLAIR tank car which of course needs to be part of my fleet.

At the moment all of my four tank cars uses the same texture arranged within a mesh library. The caption has been applied to extra mesh planes by using alpha blending. This allows the usage of the same black basic texture for all of the cars including the alpha blended caption texture parts which has been applied onto the caption mesh as required to arrange the different tank cars.

All of the tank cars supports interactive product handling, season change, air hose animation and random numbers.

I was just wondering if there was an update on updated OH consists for TS2012. I recently purchased the game and immediately downloaded what I could of your content on the DLS. I have gotten alot of the OH cars to work except the Skytop Lounge. I went to CM after trying to view it in Railyard and it then said it was faulty. I am a huge fan of your work and of the Milwaukee Road. Thanks in advance for any info!

Here is the error report which is the same for both assets 01 and 02.

As I remember you can simply remove the attachment point 7 and 13 lines in the config.txt to get these working in the game. (Far and away my favorite observation cars in Trainz, thanks TUME.)

OK i have found a fix for this that doesn't make it perfect, but turns it from faulty to having some warnings. They are now usable in-game.

First edit it in explorer using the procedure here:

As I remember you can simply remove the attachment point 7 and 13 lines in the config.txt to get these working in the game.

Next, if you look at the warnings it goes down to only one problem-- the icon file is unrecognized. I just deleted the kuid out of the kuid table and deleted the "icon" in CCP editing mode. So the error report now looks like this instead. (basically delete the missing parts in the error report)

Thanks for the help!! I have been long awaiting to use this car!
 
You don't really need PEV's tools to fix uniform color warnings. Just open the texture in any photo editing program, Photoshop or Gimp, Put a one pixel dot of a different color on the texture then save and re-commit. That way is much quicker and easier than opening it in Images2tga.
