TUME’s Simulation of “The Milwaukee Road”

I'm third, steam engines are time consuming creations and once they are finished, they are released, and I have no problem on waiting for it,anyway this line looks great, even in 2010!;)

Alright, im not going to be a pest about this but the milwauke road 261 must be one of the best steam engines to be released to Trainz 2010, release date? its up to Tume... But in the meantime if there is anything I can do to help, i have about 100 billion diffrent whistles and engine sounds for Trainz, going to record some realistic ones online here so I can get some realism in the game :)

Whistle?
Enginesound?

Anything?
Beta?

note to self: get Trainz 2010

WOW

Is this out yet? I am eagerly awaiting running this route!! I grew up along the Milwaukee Coast Division and lived along the Rocky Mountain Division in a few Montana towns. Most memorable was Tacoma, WA and the dreaded grade, many derailments due to poor maintainence. Excellent work!!!;)

really? can you NOT read just a few posts above? He'll release the 261, and the route, WHEN THEY'RE DONE!!!

How rude is it to dig up an old thread just to pester a great creator about when his content is coming out. Tume, On behalf of the trainz community, i apologize for everyone's behavior. Your Avery-Drexel route is the main reason i'm (at some point) getting TS2010. despite what anyone says, we can wait (looks over angrily at some people)

EDIT gearhead, sorry. that wasn't totally aimed at you. there's just so much begging and whining in this thread that i guess i just took yours as another whiny begger running around here. Sorry if i offended you...Tume has his own speed that he works at, but his content is well worth the wait for.

We were all new once... don't rage at someone who is asking a simple question, and if it's their first post. He likes the pictures, and told us a really great memory.

EDIT: After sawyerz edit. Just statin' a point. Lookin' good Tume!

yeah, i guess i went a bit overboard. i would never rag on a new guy if i could help it, i just saw the words is it and out and assumed the worst. after i went back and read it, i felt really bad about it.

amen to that. she's badly needed, but i can wait. i've got some great memories from her cab. Once when she was in town i got to sit in the engineer's seat once, then get to blow the whistle! for that moment i was in railfan heaven. :D

will the route going to tacoma include the milw roads route from tacoma to mineral? that is right arond where i live and would love to see in trainz! thank you

They were just talking about it a couple of posts up. He will be releasing the engine with the route... when they are done.

In the mean time, instead of shouting and demanding stuff from people on either their thread or a completely unrelated thread, send me a private message. I can tell you where to find some of the things that you are looking for.

Back on track for Milwaukee Road Othello - Kittitas

Hallo at all,

after a brake of more than three month (just to complete my PCC-Streetcar Project including the route Municipal-Surface-Railway) I am back on track to work on my Milwaukee Road Othello - Kittitas Route. This also includes the creation of a lot of new content required to simulate the towns of Othello, Kittitas and Warden, Wa and support the season change functionality of TS2010. In addition to this, all of my former created content will have to be redesigned to add season changing onto it. All this will keep me bussy for a while.

Still I could not find any information about creation of season changable LOD spline and track objects (if anybody knows - please tell me), but I am able to handle non-spline-objects.

At present, I am about to create a set of residential houses required for Othello, Wa. The scenery objects suppoerts season change and provides night mode. Also the houses have been equipped with a foundation to allow users to place this objects at a slopy terrain.

See the first results at a small residential area at Othello, Wa:
