Tumbler Ridge Project

I had a crazy idea recently, and for some reason, I went through with it.

Is that 4k?

Uber mega super extreme 12k definition with 9 million poly bolts and 12 trillion poly wires

I am willing to bet frames would absolutely drop.

surprisingly enough, since I managed a similar LOD level at it's lowest point, there wasn't any noticeable performance difference.

Still needs a bit of tweaking with the wire, but otherwise i'm happy with it.

The future site of Quintette coal processing. This is going to take loads of work. I'm talking lots of custom buildings, more catenary types, animations, night time lighting, etc. It is the primary coal loading site, and the loader is rather unique. although, the scale building is very odd and I'm sure how it works. It honestly just looks like a bunch of lights or something tacked onto the side of a metal building.

Matt, i wamy to personally say, I want this route, I want it and you're bringing out my inner gimmie pig. Your fault for posting these tremendous screenies :hehe: do keep it up!

Thanks guys, i appreciate it.

So while I take 9 years to finish up this BCR SD40-2 set, I've been experimenting with the latest nvidia DSR stuff. so even though i have a 1080p monitor, i can simulate up to 4k resolutions. these are in 1440p so watch out. (click thumbnail to view)

It is worth noting that CN SD40s, CN GP40s, and BCR SD40-2s were used quite often on this route during it's early years, locos such as the SD60f and SD50f were not allowed due to clearance issues.
