TS Versions Question

I have TS2006 on DVD and therefore a Serial number that is registered with Auran. I now have TS2010 purchased by download from "Just Flight" so no "hard" copy. (The route I built under TS2006 runs fine under TS2010).

Do I need to register the TS2010 version with Auran to use the DLS or do I just buy a ticket?

Presumably I do not need TS2009 because I have TS2010?

Yes, If you want to use the DLS, you have to register your TS2010 serial in you Planet Auran profile. You don't need to buy additional (FCT) tickets, but without FCT, DLS will be extremely slow or unavailable (server is always full...)

You don't need TS2009, TS2010 contains everything what is in TS2009, and even more.

Hi Chickweed.
1. Start Ts2010 to get to the first option screen (the one that gives you the option to start the trainz program, options, content, etc.
2. Click the options button.
3. Under the General tab, you should find your serial number.

Thats how it works for my cd version, which should be the same for your download version!
