TRS22 "Pre-Release" build is available

We've made the latest Trainz Plus / TRS22 builds available in preparation for our official TRS22 release next week.


NOTE: This is not the final build but we're getting very close!

Trainz Plus vs Retail
To make it clearer which build is which, we will no longer be providing Trainz Plus features through "Retail" builds.


Note that in this update, there are people who are on 116492 who are Trainz Plus members, or TRS22 retail owners. Therefore if you are a Trainz Plus member and choose the TRS22 stream, you will end up with a retail build and lose access to your Trainz Plus features.


Of course you can reinstall Trainz Plus from MyTrainz, but we want to make it clear about the differentiation.


This change means also that there will now be Retail updates alongside Trainz Plus updates, since retail owners will still need access to MPS for example.


Of course, Trainz Plus members will still get additional exclusive features.

TRS22 Content Update
The five TRS22 routes have all been updated and are ready to download. We would encourage everyone to check out the updates and report any issues through this Feedback Form.


Please note that these updates require the latest version to be installed to ensure you have all the correct content. If you are missing any items please check that you have updated to the latest build (numbers are above).

Trainz Plus Patch
Trainz Plus Beta 116492 to Trainz Plus Beta 117092 (PC) - Trainz Plus patch stream

Just a question. I have Trainz Plus 116492 on the "Trainz Plus" patch stream, not the "Trainz Plus Beta" patch stream and when I launched Trainz it (and I confirmed this during the process that it was the"Trainz Plus" patch stream) it immediately offered an update to (don't remember what but I will assume build 117092). This is now underway. Your post above only mentioned "Trainz Plus Beta 116492 to Trainz Plus Beta 117092 (PC) - Trainz Plus patch stream".

Is this correct?

EDIT 1: Regardless. Build 117092 now installed - 6.6GB patch file took 25 minutes to download (on a 50MB/sec broadband link), 3 minutes to install and 2 minutes for the DBR.

Now testing.

EDIT 2: Only one issue encountered. <kuid2:56511:21012:1> VAVSandstone3 has its status listed as "Packaged, disabled". Using the Content menu from CM, I was able to enable it.

EDIT 3: I spoke too soon. A number of assets that were initially labelled as "Installed from DLS, disabled" but when I enabled them that changed to "Installed from DLS, faulty". All of them textures.

Running a DBR eliminated all the "faulty" labels. Now I have just one route (my own creation) showing "Modified, missing dependencies" but the commands List Dependencies and List Dependencies Recursively show nothing as "missing".

Edit 4: The same route in build 117092 on a different computer which has Trainz Plus on the Trainz Plus Beta Stream is showing no errors, no missing dependencies.
